There’s really not much to say about this month’s dividend payouts. Everything that was expected to payout this month did and at the expected time. There were no surprises (good or bad). So April was a pretty uneventful month for dividend payouts. Things were a bit intense during the final couple weeks of the month with selling off employer stock options, buying stocks, and then selling some stocks. But that’s another story that’s been covered in the previous posting, so I won’t delve into it here.

While my 2015 goal of $600/month in projected average monthly dividend income has not been achieved yet, the strong upward trend of my monthly dividend income clearly shows that I’m making solid progress towards achieving that goal and will probably reach it well before the year’s end.

Thanks for visiting! Yes, the magic and beauty of compounding is awesome when it comes to dividend investing. With my little matching program of putting in fresh capital that matches the previous month’s dividend payouts, I am effectively doubling the compounding rate. My matching program is certainly a contributing factor to why my dividend income has grown nicely in the past 17 months.
