October is now over and the holiday season is just around the corner! Overall October was a good month, as I *finally* finished my summer paver brick patio extension project and ended the month by pressure washing the driveway and sealing it (something I’ve been wanting/needing to do for a looong time). Yep, October was good.
So how was my dividend income for October? Did the month end with a trick or a treat? Let’s do the numbers and find out…
AWP $ 45.00
BGY $ 38.00*
CHW $ 21.00*
CIK $ 22.00*
CLM $ 46.52*
CODI $144.00
DHY $ 38.50
DMF $ 12.30
DSM $ 22.83
EAD $ 9.03
EDF $ 45.00*
EHI $ 26.60
EXG $114.00*
NCV $ 45.50
OIA $ 4.30
PFN $ 36.00
PNNT $ 81.00
RA $ 69.85
VFL $ 15.00
ZTR $ 33.90
TOTAL $870.33
* Includes Return of Capital
Not bad! While October’s $870.33 didn’t set a new record high for me, pulling down nearly $900 in passive dividend income is certainly sweet. The quarterly payouts from CODI and PNNT also served to give the month a nice boost.
October was not without a couple dividend cuts. EAD reduced its monthly dividend from 5.98 cents to 5.641 cents, a 5.7% cut. EHI trimmed its monthly dividend from 6.75 cents to 6.65 cents, a 1.5% cut. Overall, these dividend cuts are both barely perceptible nicks that amount to a total hit of -$0.94 to my monthly dividend income. Not exactly something for me to lose sleep over. 🙂
Other than the month’s total income and the two div cuts, there’s not much to really say. Regarding this site, there may be some cosmetic and design changes coming before the year’s end, as I’m considering updating the site’s theme (Graphene for WordPress) and tweaking some graphic elements of the site. After going essentially unchanged for over three years, the site is due for a makeover. Speaking of this site, in early October I was contacted by Feedspot.com and was told that Dividend Quest was included in their Top 100 Dividend Blogs And Websites For Dividend Investors list. Dividend Quest ranked #40, so that’s not too bad.
How was your October?
